A practical example
A job is handed to another person, but acceptance is still unrecorded. Keep the receiving person and next action visible, confirm the handoff with them, and update the record. This is a practical illustration, not automatic messaging.
How to begin
- When purchases open, download the ZIP from the secure order link and unzip it.
- Read the guide. Import the XLSX into Google Sheets and make a private working copy.
- Enter each Work ID, responsible person, status, due date, next step and handoff acceptance. Filter the Attention column, confirm the actual condition and record who will move it forward.
Compatibility and limits
A free Google account and Google Sheets are sufficient. Core formulas, dropdowns and formatting were verified after Google Sheets import. Excel desktop has not been tested. Each control sheet supports 199 records. Formula cells are visually distinguished and are not locked.
Formulas calculate attention flags and summaries from your entries. You update records manually. There are no bank or accounting connections, automatic messages or synchronized records. This is an operational record, not accounting, tax or legal advice or a guarantee of results.
License, delivery and support
One purchasing business may use and adapt the files internally with its staff. No resale, redistribution or sublicensing. Consulting and customization are separate services.
After a successful purchase when sales open, delivery is automatic through a secure ZIP download link. For download problems, defects or duplicate purchases, email hello@birchbrookoperations.com with your order number. We will restore access or correct a defect; if it cannot be resolved, we will refund the affected purchase. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
